Museum fur Architekturzeichnung

Serendipity: I started doing these drawings many years ago as a creative outlet that didn’t deal with the realities that my architecture has to. Just the expression of ideas about how buildings are situated in the environment, and how they are seen, or can be seen, by people. After receiving multiple awards from the American Society of Architectural Illustrators and the Dallas AIA KRob competition I was approached by Sergei Tchoban of nps-Tschoban-Voss in Berlin to be a part of a show on Americans that create artwork of buildings. The exhibit featured architects who were artists from the past as well as from current times.  To be exhibited among those whom I have looked up to as inspiration such as Wright, Steve Oles, Michael Graves, Hugh Ferris, it was quite an honor. I’d seen this museum in the magazines as it is such a striking design, and in the back of my mind had a goal of being a part of it a some point.  Didn’t think it would happen this quickly.
