Two artworks were commissioned by Sergei Tchoban of the architectural offices of NPS Tchoban Voss based in Berlin, Germany. His firm had been working in Berlin for about 20 years, and wanted to commemorate the best of their buildings by having a select group of artists create their interpretation of these buildings through drawing and painting. What is interesting is that when in Berlin in 2015 I had captured images and made sketch studies of numerous buildings there.  I didn’t realize it at the time, but four of these buildings were by Sergei.So when he sent me images of his buildings to review, I realized I had already begin laying our ideas for them.
